COMEDK 2021

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has announced the results today, May 29, 2021, for the KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE) 2021 Phase I test. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam from May 25 to 27, 2021, can check their results on the official website kiitee.kiit.ac.in. To check their results, candidates must login to the official website using their login credentials. After accessing the results, aspirants are advised to either download or take a printout of their results for future reference.

To check their KIITEE 2021 Phase I results, candidates have to go to the official website i.e kiitee.kiit.ac.in and click on KIITEE 2021 (Phase 1) Result. Then they have to enter their Application Number and Date of Birth to log in. Once logged in, candidates can see their results. Authorities shall also be issuing separate rank cards indicating the ranks acquired by candidates in the examination. These rank cards shall be sent to the respective candidates and can also be downloaded from the official website.

KIIT have also curated separate merit lists for different courses. To decide whether the candidate has qualified the exam or not, the institute has also fixed the cut-off marks for each course. However, for the admission process, a candidate’s rank is more important than the marks scored in the test. However, this rank and the percentile acquired in the entrance exam is decided based on the candidate’s marks.

The institute authorities also decide the cut-off rank for each course depending on the number of seats available. This cut-off rank shall be notified soon by the authorities. Candidates who have a rank higher or greater than the cut-off rank shall be called for the counselling process. Thus, more than marks, the rank decides whether a candidate shall get admission for the desired course or not.

KIIT authorities are expected to publish the counselling schedule soon on the official website for the qualified candidates. Candidates who have qualified the examination are required to attend the KIITEE 2021 Phase I counselling session as per the decided dates. The counselling session shall come to an end as soon as seats for all courses are filled.

At the time of KIIT counselling session, candidates have to undergo a document-verification process. This shall be done to create records of identification, qualifying examination, age, etc. In case, candidates are not able to prove the correctness of their documents, they will not be considered for the admission process. Hence, it is of paramount important for candidates to have all the required documents.

The required documents for the KIIT 2021 admission process include Admit Card, Rank Card, Class 10 Passing Certificate, Class 12 Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate, etc. along with the educational documents, candidates must possess a Demand Draft of Rs 75,000 in favour of the KIIT which is payable at Bhubaneswar. This fee also includes a counselling registration fee of Rs.10,000. Any balance amount remaining must be paid at the time of reporting to the college.
