Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is starting the KIITEE 2021 slot booking process today, May 17, 2021. This is happening for phase 1 of the exam process. Slot booking is an online process to choose the date and time of the examination. The last date by which all candidates must book their slots is May 21, 2021. The deadline falls a day after the last date to fill application form.
After slot booking module ends, a mock test will be held on May 23, 2021. Candidates must attempt the mock test as this year the exam will be in remote proctored online mode, which is different from the usual mode. The entrance exams are scheduled to be held from May 25 to 27, 2021.
The steps for KIITEE 2021 slot booking process are as follows.
Step-1: Visit the official website of the Kalinga Institute at kiitee.kiit.ac.in.
Step-2: Find and open the link for “Online Slot Booking”.
Step-3: The login window will open on your screen. Here you should fill application number and date of birth and then click on the “continue” button.
Step-4: Now choose the appropriate date and time for the exam and mock test at your convenience.
Step-5: Then confirm your chosen details.
Step-6: By clicking on the confirm button, you will complete your slot booking. Then, you may download your admit card by clicking on the link that appears on the same page.
After completing the slot booking, the link for an e-admit card will be displayed on your screen on the same page of slot booking. You can download your admit card there.
Candidates can give the exam from their home or comfortable locations. Candidates must have their computer/laptop/smartphone with a high-end internet connection, webcam and speaker for listening to the instructions.
In the exam, the candidate will be shown 1 question at a time on the screen. The candidate has to select the expected answer and click on the “Next Question” button for the next screen.
Last year, around 1.5 Lac candidates appeared in the KIITEE exam for the engineering streams while around 75K candidates appeared for the other streams like agriculture and pharmacy. Last year the closing rank was 26984 for B.Tech, 1150 for Architecture and 1980 for BA LLB/BBA LLB and B.Sc LLB course.
