King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh is going to conduct walk-in-interviews on February 17, 2021 to fill up 42 latest vacancies. KGMU has published a latest recruitment notification in this regard at the official website kgmu.org. The vacancies are for posts such as Medical Officer & others. Eligible and intending candidates are invited to send their applications through email before attending the interview on the said date. The last date of receipt of applications is February 10, 2021. List of applicants shortlisted for interview is to be displayed on the official website on February 15, 2021.
As per the official notification, the vacancies are available for the posts of Medical Officer (08), Staff Nurse (32) and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (02). Reservations do exist for special categories and candidates can check the detailed vacancy bifurcation from the official notification. Selected candidates are to be appointed for a contractual basis for a fixed monthly salary.
The salary for the post of Medical Officer is Rs 60,000 while Staff Nurses are entitled to receive a salary of Rs 30,000 per month. Monitoring & Evaluation Officer post holders are entitled to receive a monthly salary of Rs 16600. Candidates must be holding the minimum educational qualification and fulfil other eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment.
For the post of Medical Officer, an MBBS degree is essential while candidates with a Nursing Diploma can apply for the post of Staff Nurse. Candidates who have passed B.Sc./B.Com and holds and O Level Certificate Course are eligible to apply for the post of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer. The essential qualifications must be recognized by the MCI/NMCI or the Uttar Pradesh State Nursing Council.
Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done through the walk-in-interviews scheduled to be held a Kalam Centre, KGMU, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Candidates have to report to the venue on or before 09.00 AM on the date of interview. The University will screen the received applications and publish a list of shortlisted applicants who are eligible to appear for the interview. No admit card is to be sent to the shortlisted candidates for attending the interviews. The University will not pay any TA/DA for attending the interview.
The application format can be downloaded from the official website i.e. kgmu.org. Filled up applications must be scanned and the scanned copy must be sent to the University through specified email on or before the last date. At the time of the interview, candidates have to produce the hard copy of the application form along with all original documents and a self-attested copy of the respective documents. Applicants are also required to carry 04 copies of recent passport sized photograph.
