LBS Center for Science and Technology has released the Kerala SET exam 2022 notification on the official website, lbsedp.lbscentre.in Kerala SET (State Eligibility Test) is the eligibility test for the candidates who are aspiring to be a teacher in state-based schools.
As per the official notification, the online application process is going to commence on October 20, 2021, and shall end on October 30, 2021, at 5 pm. The last date to submit the application fee against the KSET 2022 exam is November 02, 2021. Kerala SET 2022 admit card is going to be released on December 20, 2021, from 5 pm onwards and the exam is scheduled for January 09, 2022.
Kerala SET 2022 exam is going to be held for a total of 31 subjects and there shall be two papers. Paper 1 is going to have 120 questions in total out of which 60 questions shall be asked from General Knowledge and the remaining questions from Aptitude in Teaching. Whereas paper 2 is also going to have 120 questions from the specialisation of PG but if the candidate has opted for Mathematics and Statistics, then there will be only 80 questions for 1.5 marks. The minimum marks to pass the exam for general category student is 40% marks on each paper and 48% marks in aggregate for both papers. While the minimum qualifying marks for OBC and SC, ST category is 35% for each paper and 45% and 40% for aggregate.

Step 1: Visit the official website of LBS, Kerala, lbsedp.lbscentre.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Kerala SET 2022 dates and proceed
Step 3: Start the registration process by entering a valid mobile number and then proceed to fill the application form with personal and academic details and note down the registration id generated
Step 4: Next, upload the candidate’s scanned photograph on the Kerala SET 2022 application form
Step 5: After this, pay the application fee relevant to the candidate’s category and then submit the application form of Kerala SET 2022.
The application fee for General/OBC category aspirants is INR 1000 and INR 500 for SC/ST and PWD category. Also, the size of the scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph must not be more than 30 kb.
According to the official notification, Kerala SET 2022 exam is going to be held in the following 14 districts in Kerala – Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod.
There is no prescribed age limit for applying to Kerala SET 2022 application form. However, the academic qualification for a candidate is having a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with more than or equivalent to 50% marks and a B.Ed degree in any discipline. For those applying for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Botany, the academic qualification is having an M.SC.ED degree with a minimum of 50% marks. The candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s or Master’s from distance learning programme are not eligible to apply for the exam.
Kerala SET 2022 is a teacher eligibility test for candidates who wish to get appointed as Higher Secondary school and non- Vocational teachers. The Kerala SET 2022 certificate is compulsory eligibility for all those who are aspiring to serve the state schools as Plus 2 teachers for different subjects.
