KCET Admit Card 2021 will be released on August 13; Know How To Check Exam Centre

As per the official brochure, the KCET Exam 2021 will be conducted in around 54 KCET exam centres situated in 29 districts pan Karnataka.

KCET Admit Card 2021 will be released on August 13

Karnataka Examination Authority has activated the link on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ for the candidates to check the KCET Exam Centers and the application fee payment status. The authorities will conduct the KCET Exam 2021 on August 28, 2021, and August 29, 2021, for four papers in two shifts. The KCET admit card for all the eligible candidates will be available by August 13, 2021. According to the notification, the authorities are all set to hold KCET Exam 2021 in around 54 exam centres in 29 districts located in Karnataka. 

KCET 2021 is held annually to provide admission to eligible students in various UG professional courses. The KEA considers the candidate’s scores in the entrance test to provide admission in Karnataka colleges various streams viz Engineering, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Agricultural Naturopathy and Yoga. As per the authorities, the exam centre will be allotted on the basis of availability and the candidate’s preference. One important thing to note here is that, once the centre of the exam is allotted it cannot be changed under any circumstances.

The basic prerequisites to appear in the KCET examination is admit card and venue address. The candidates who have applied for the KCET 2021 can relate to the steps mentioned below for checking their exam centre and fee payment status:

Step 1: Start by visiting the dedicated portal of the KCET i.e. cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the flash link available on the top, “UGCET-2021 Exam Center and Fee Payment Status”.

Step 3: Then, on the login page, enter Candidate’s Application Number, DOB as per SSLC mark sheet, and click on the view button.

Step 4: The venue of the exam centre and the fee payment status will be available on the next page. 

As per the last year’s admit card, the code of the exam centre and the address of the KCET exam centre is available on the top of the page in bold letters. Apart from this, the candidates can also find it beneath the photograph of the candidate on the righthand side of the admit card.

The candidates going for the KCET Exam 2021 can also use Google maps to check their exam centre location beforehand. For this, they can simply open the app on their smartphone or use the website. Then, the candidates can enter the complete address on the search bar available. Post entering the same, the search result will show the exact location of the venue. The candidates can also use the “From and To” option wherein, they can know the exact distance, shortest routes etc from their current location to the exam centre.

The KCET exam will be an offline pen and paper test held for mainly four subjects i.e. Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. The authorities will conduct the Mathematics and Biology paper on the first day. While the Physics and Chemistry paper is scheduled for the second day. Each paper will account for 60 questions and the total duration for completing the same will be 70 minutes.
