Karnataka PGCET 2021: Application Form Out, Check Eligibility Clause Codes A, B, C, D, H, U and V

The PGCET 2021 examinations will be held on October 22 and 23, 2021. Applications will be received till September 17, 2021 via cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.

Karnataka PGCET 2021

The Karnataka Examinations Authority or KEA has started the online application process for Post Graduate Common Entrance Test or PGCET 2021. PGCET is conducted for the students who are willing to take admission in postgraduate courses like MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech and M. Arch courses. Candidates can submit their application forms till September 17, 2021, by 5:30 PM at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. The last date for paying the fees in the specified bank is September 18, 2021.

Take a look at the steps to know how to submit the Karnataka PGCET 2021 application:

Step 1- Visit cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea and click on the link that reads ‘Online Application 2021 for MBA, MCA etc. under the ‘Latest Announcements’ category

Step 2- Select the ‘New User? Click Here to Register link

Step 3- Specify the citizenship of the candidate and then proceed to fill in details like name, parents’ name, gender, contact details, course details, contact information, etc. and then click on the submit button

Step 4- After successful registration, enter the login credentials and fill the application form

Step 5- Provide study details, upload photo and signature and then click on ‘Final Submission’

Step 6- Now, download the challan by selecting the respective bank.

Karnataka PGCET 2021 entails certain eligibility clauses that have specific codes. Detailed information about these clauses is now available on the Information Bulletin that can be downloaded from the official website. The required clauses for Karnataka PGCET 2021 are:

a. A candidate must have studied and passed in a Government institution in Karnataka for a minimum of seven academic years.

b. The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination run or recognized by the Karnataka state government. Also, either of their parents should have studied in an institution in Karnataka for a minimum of seven years.

c. Either of the candidate’s parents must have studied in government recognized institutions within Karnataka for seven years.

d. The candidate or any of their parents must have resided in Karnataka for at least seven years.

h. Domicile proof of the sons and daughters of ex-serviceman is necessary.

u. Candidates whose parents are ex-servicemen must produce a certificate showing the home address of the parent. This ex-serviceman clause is not for M.E., M. Tech and M. Arch courses.

v. Candidates claiming reservation under the physically disabled category will have to go through a medical examination at a specified date.
