Directorate of Education, UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu is inviting applications for the post of Assistant Teacher. As per the official notification, the conducting body has advertised the recruitment for 485 Primary and Upper Primary School. The registrations for this recruitment has already started. The recruitment of Assistant Teachers is announced under a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS). Out of the published vacancies, 278 are open for Assistant Teacher Primary Schools English medium. The rest of the vacancies, that is 207 vacancies, are available for Upper Primary Schools under Gujarati, Marathi, English and Hindi medium. All the eligible candidates will be recruited on a contractual basis for Government Schools. During their period, they received monthly remuneration of Rs. 22,000/- for Primary School and Rs. 23,000/- for Upper Primary Schools.
To apply for Assistant Teachers for Primary School candidate must have passed 12th classes with minimum 50% marks. They should also have 02 years of Diploma in Elementary Education. Those who have graduation degree with 50% marks and B. Ed can also apply for Assistant Teacher Primary School. Candidates intending to apply for Assistant Teacher Upper Primary Schools must have BA/ B.Sc/ B. Com and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education. Those who possess BA/ B. Sc/ B. Com and B. Ed degree can also apply for Assistant Teacher Upper Primary School Teacher.
Moreover, the post of Assistant Teacher (Primary and Upper Primary Schools) requires the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) pass candidates. So, aspirants who have qualified TET examination that is conducted by the Central Government or any State Government in Indian are eligible to apply for Assistant Teacher post. In addition, the candidate’s age should not be more than 30 years while applying for recruitment.
Applications against the advertised vacancies should be sent on the official mail address of Directorate of education, [email protected]. The prescribed format for the submission of applications is available on the notification. Also, candidates who wish to apply for birth Primary School and Upperprimary school have to submit separate applications. Single applications for both the posts will be rejected at once.
After the application process is over, the conducting body will release the list of eligible and ineligible candidates on the website. The process of selection for Assistant Teachers will start from November 12, 2020, onwards. Inncae of any changes in the schedule, the same will be informed through the official website.
