The year 2019 will be the year of National Testing Agency! After it has taken over the role of conducting exams like NEET, JEE Main, CMAT, GPAT, and UGC NET, it has again come into the picture by associating with Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi to conduct JNUEE 2019. And by doing so, it has become the first Indian Central University to directly associate with NTA.
Recently, Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE 2019) which was meant to be conducted between December 27 to December 30, 2019, has been postponed. And the authorities have decided to conduct JNUEE 2019 in online mode and in the month of May 2019.
The exam date and other JNUEE 2019 related information will be soon made public over the official website i.e http://www.jnu.ac.in. In the public notice, dated November 11, 2018, the Director of Admissions, JNU advised all the interested eligible candidates to keep themselves updated with JNUEE 2019 announcements.
JNUEE 2019 will be conducted for various courses like M.Tech, MPH, PG Diploma, M.A./M.Sc./MCA, B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year, B.A. (Hons.) 1st year and some part-time courses for admission to JNU. Each of which has separate JNUEE 2019 eligibility criteria, that needs to be fulfilled. NTA getting associated with JNU is expected to reach out to a much larger audience, who are interested in admission to this prestigious university. As JNUEE 2019 will be conducted in computer-based mode, NTA is also said to help candidates from rural areas to familiarize with the online test.
It is being said that the change of the JNUEE 2019 exam date has been done with a noble purpose. As a candidate faces extreme distress to appear for the exam in the winter season, so the authorities have decided to shift the exam from the month of December to May. Although, a confirmation is yet to be received in the form of JNUEE 2019 important dates. Last year, JNUEE was conducted across 56 exam centers, in offline mode. With NTA coming into the scene, it is expected to get doubled.
Reputable Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi was established in the year 1969 to impart teaching and research-oriented education across various fields. As per NIRF 2018 Ranking, it was ranked 6th in general and 2nd among the universities. Last year, JNU received whopping 1 lakh JNUEE applications.
