Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) issued a public notice on Tuesday, May 04, 2021, announcing the admission scheduled for students of nursery and Class 1, 6, 9 and 11 for the academic year 2021-22. According to the notice, application forms were made available yesterday, May 05, 2021 on the official website jmicoe.in. the last date to apply for the admission process is June 04, 2021. Interested students who fit the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply for the exam on the official website within the mentioned deadline.
JMI has also made the 2021-22 admission prospectus available on the official website jmicoe.in. According to the prospectus, the written test shall be conducted for different standards from June 19 to 27, 2021. Written test for Class 11 (Arts) shall be conducted on June 19, 2021, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The test for Class 11 (Commerce) shall be conducted on June 19, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Students applying for Class 11 (Science) must appear for the exam on June 20, 2021, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Written test for nursery admission shall be held on June 22, 2021, from 9:30 am. The same for Class 1 shall be on June 24, 2021, from 2:00 pm whereas it will be conducted for prep on the same day from 10:00 am. Class 6 admission test shall be held on June 26, 2021, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. On the other hand, a written test for Class 9 shall be scheduled on June 27, 2021, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
According to the public notice issued by JMI, all candidates have to pay Rs.300 as an application fee to apply for the 2021-22 admission process. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking. No requests regarding refund shall be entertained by authorities. However, in case the transaction is not processed, candidates shall receive the entire amount in their bank account.
During the application process, candidates or their guardians must keep certain important documents along with them. These documents include a valid and accessible email ID, functioning mobile number, coloured passport-size photograph and softcopy of signature. The photograph and signature much be uploaded in JPG or JPEG format.
JMI authorities have permitted candidates and their guardians to make corrections in their application form (except name and date of birth) before paying the application fee. However, after paying the fee, candidates shall not be allowed to make any further changes in the form. However, they may be permitted to apply for another class or stream if they wish to.
