Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the JKPSC KAS 2021 result for the preliminary examination on the official website, jkpsc.nic.in. The JKPSC 2021 pre-examination was held on October 24, 2021, in a single shift. Those who successfully qualify for the preliminary exam of J&K Administrative Services are now eligible to appear in the JKPSC Mains examination.

As per the official notification released on the website, 4544 candidates have qualified for the preliminary examination. The notice also reads that the mains exam for JKPSC will be held on the first fortnight of February 2022. Since the result has been released in the form of a PDF file, the candidates can check the same with their roll numbers.
JKPSC is expected to release the application form for the mains examination soon and the qualified candidates have to apply for the same. Also, the result of those candidates that have been on hold shall be released once the honourable court releases the orders to do so.

The commission has announced 187 vacancies for the post of Administrative Services. The selection process comprise of a preliminary exam followed by mains and an interview round. The final result is released after the main examination and interview round is over. The candidates are assigned departments and posts on the basis of their rank and marks scored in the final merit list. According to the official notification, candidates post-selection shall be posted in any of the three departments i.e. Administrative services, J&K Police and J&K Accounts Service.
