Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has declared the JIPMER PG results 2020 of the exams held for January session admission. The institute has published results for both MD/MS, and DM/M.Ch.
Candidates with rank from 1 to 320 from UR, 1 to 270 from OBC, 1 to 150 from SC, 1 to 70 from ST, 1 to 190 from institute candidates, and 1 to 7 from PWD OPH have been called for MD/MS counselling from UR category.
JIPMER will release the individual rank letter for all the candidates who appeared in the MD/MS entrance exam on December 19, 2019, at 11 AM. For the DM/M.Ch exam, rank letter for all test takers will be made available from 11 am today only.
Those who have qualified for counseling, from UR, OBC, institute, SC, ST category, need to attend the same at mini auditorium 4th floor, JIPMER academic centre, JIPMER, Puducherry – 06, from 8 am to 11 am on December 27, 2019. Sponsored candidates, foreign nationals, OPH need to report for counselling from 9 am to 11 am at the mini auditorium 3rd floor in JIPMER Academic Centre, JIPMER, Puducherry – 06.
Whereas candidates who have qualified in DM/M.Ch entrance exam have their counselling on December 24, 2019, from 9 am to 11 am, in the mini auditorium 4th floor, JIPMER Academic Centre, JIPMER, Puducherry – 06.
How to check JIPMER PG results 2020?
To check either of the results, candidates who appeared in the post graduate medical entrance exams need to go to the official website jipmer.edu.in, and click the “more” link under the latest updates in the green box.
Then on the next page, click “jipmer results dm/m.ch courses (january – 2020 session) – 17/12/2019” for DM/M.Ch results, or “jipmer results md/ms courses (january – 2020 session) – 17/12/2019” for MD/MS results.
For MD/MS, JIPMER has published overall rank list, results notice. In addition there are 8 separate merit lists containing shortlisted candidates of each category namely UR, OBC, SC, ST, institute, OPH, sponsored, foreign national.
Whereas for DM/M.Ch programs, the institute has published counselling notice, overall rank list, merit list with shortlisted candidates for DM, and merit list with shortlisted candidates for M.Ch. In this case, the overall merit list is not a single document but separate lists have been prepared for DM critical care, neuro anaesthesia, cardiac anaesthesia, cardiology, clinical immunology, clinical pharmacology, neonatology, neurology, nephrology, medical oncology, endocrinology, medical gastroentrology, paediatric critical care, neuroimaging and interventions; and M.Ch cardiac thoracic and vascular surgery CTVS, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, paediatric surgery, surgical gastroenterology, surgical oncology, urology.
The overall rank lists show name, roll number, total marks, date of birth, percentile, overall rank, category rank, and eligibility. Whereas the merit lists show roll number, name, total marks, DOB, percentile, rank, category rank of only the shortlisted candidates.
The overall merit list of MD/MS entrance exam contains details of 14,659 candidates, meaning that these many had appeared for the test on December 8, 2019.
Allotment of seats will be on the basis of roster point allocation for all the programs. Certificate verification dates will not be changed for any candidate under any circumstances.
