JEE Main 2018: Set Wise JEE Main Answer Key for April 8 Exam Published

The offline paper of JEE Main 2018 has been held today, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the examination in 258 centres, which included 10 centres abroad. The Paper 2 of JEE will also be held today, from 2:00 am to 5:00 pm. Now, one by one various coaching institutes are releasing answer key for JEE Main. Candidates can use it to evaluate their performance in the exam.

Resonance, Career Launcher, Motion IIT JEE, Sri Chaitanya, Allen Kota, are few of the many institutes that releasesJEE Main Answer Key. The candidates can visit the official website of these institutes to get the answer key. However, that will be too laborious. Rather than that, the candidates can visit JEE Main Answer Key Page to download all the answer keys at once, from a single place.

Download JEE Main Answer Key for Correct Set The answer key by the coaching institutes contains answers to the questions asked in the examination. The candidates should download it carefully because there were 4 sets of JEE Main question paper and to estimate the correct score, the answer key for only the respective set must be used.

How to Calculate Score Through JEE Main Answer Key 2018 The process to calculate score from the JEE 2018 key is very simple. The candidates just need to download the answer key and then match the answers from the key with that submitted in the exam. For each answer that will match, the candidates will have to add 4 marks but for each answer that does not match, the candidates have to deduct 1 mark. Even if the candidate has marked more than one option as the answer, then also 1 marks is to be deducted.

Once the scores have been predicted, the candidates may insert it in the JEE Main 2018 Rank Predictor and know their rank in the exam. Rank predictors are the online tool which estimates the rank of the candidates on basis of the score and past year’s data.

JEE Main 2018 Answer Key by CBSE Central Board of Secondary Education will also release the answer key of JEE Main but on April 24, 2018. The Board will upload it on the jeemain.nic.in for all the sets of offline exam and date of online exam. To download JEE Main Official Answer Key 2018, the candidates need to login by entering the application number and password.

The Board will allow the candidates to challenge the answer key. If a candidate or parent or teacher, etc feels that the answer(s) is not correct then they may submit objection by paying Rs. 1000 per question. The objection fee is to be submitted online and the candidates will be refunded the fee amount if the objection stands valid.

Along with the JEE 2018 Key, the board will also upload the response sheet. From the OMR response sheet, candidates will be able to see the answers marked by then and can use it while calculating the score through the answer key.

More than 11 lakh Candidates Registered for JEE Main These candidates will be able to check their result on April 30, 2018. The result of JEE Main 2018 will state the score and the All India Rank of the candidates. CBSE will announce the result for JEE Main 2018 Paper 2 on May 31, 2018.

The All India Rank will be prepared on the basis of the score obtained in the exam. According to the rank, the seats will be allocated to the candidates during the rounds of counselling.
