JEE Main 2022

Authorities have called the rumors speculative and requested all aspirants to be patient and ‘trust’ the authorities, and check official websites of NTA only.

JEE Main 2022 Expected Date

Last year NTA had released the notification for JEE Mains on December 16. Registration was kept open from December 16 to January 17. The four phases of exams were held in February, March, April, May. If NTA had to follow last year’s timeline, then the notification should have been released more than a month ago.

Latest news on JEE Main 2022 Exam Date

As per latest reports – some mere speculative reports, others with some data – claim that JEE Main 2022 exam date could be delayed. This year, the exams are likely to be held from March onwards, instead of February. And notification, registration / application form most likely to release in February.

Why the delay?

NTA is silent up until now on the upcoming JEE Main. The prolonged silence has further added fuel to the metaphorical speculations fire.

On one hand experts feel that the rising covid- 19 cases have been a cause of worry and due to this JEE Mains exam events may get delayed.

Whereas on the other hand, covid is not the only reason for the delay in the JEE Mains 2022 session 1 exam schedule. The other reason playing a major role in this is the upcoming Assembly elections in the 5 states. Curiously, with pending assembly elections  in 5 states in February and first week of March, 2022 chances of conducting the first session of JEE 2022 in February is quite low.

If JEE Main 2022 is in March, it will clash with board exams

NTA is anticipated to conduct JEE Main 2022 phase 1 in the second or third week of March. However in this case the exam dates may clash with the board exams. Until now, a handful of states and boards have announced their board exam dates. If board exams are in Feb-March, how will JEE be then?

The wait continues for JEE Main 2022 aspirants!

Lakhs of JEE aspirants across the country are awaiting the exam schedule in order to begin with their last minute revision for the exam. Students are demanding clarity about the multiple rumors across the internet which states that JEE Main 2022 schedule will be released in March, 2022.

According to reports, NTA has been working to release the JEE Main 2022 exam date. Reports claim that the agency is holding onto a rapid vaccination process and is expecting JEE aspirants to get fully vaccinated by the time the application process for the first session begins. JEE aspirants are advised to keep a close eye on the official website of NTA to not miss out on any recent updates regarding the exam schedule.

From the year 2021, NTA started conducting JEE exams four times a year. Since experts are expecting the first session to be in March, the dates for the remaining three sessions can be expected in the consecutive months of April, May and June respectively.  Authorities at the Education Ministry just as NTA have not confirmed any of the reports. Authorities have called them speculative and requested all aspirants to be patient and ‘trust’ the authority site of NTA – nta.ac.in and  jeemain.nta.nic.in.
