Lakhs of students across the country are ardently waiting for the JEE Main 2022 application form to release. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to provide any clarity on the same. While Engineering aspirants are left in the dark, the Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani recently made an important announcement.
The announcement has been published on the institute’s official website bitsadmission.com. Accordingly, details about BITSAT 2022 examination will be announced soon, on the official portal.
BITSAT 2022 Official Announcement
Recently, BITS Pilani concluded its admission process for the academic year 2021-22. So, no further changes or developments will take place in this regard. The institute instead, is in process of announcing the schedule for BITS Aptitude Test 2022. The same was implied in the official announcement given below –

This announcement is brief and does not provide any tentative date for the release of the BITSAT 2022 application form. So, candidates interested in seeking admission at BITS for the academic year 2021-22 are advised to visit the official portal frequently. To ensure that they stay on top of any new development or announcement regarding the upcoming entrance test.
BITSAT 2022 Expected Exam Date
Looking at previous-year records, the BITSAT 2022 application form is likely to release in the fourth week of February 2022, preferably around February 23-24. The application process shall continue to June 2022, giving ample time for students to fill and submit the online application form. The entrance test is likely to be held in the July-August 2022 period on a nationwide level, through the computer-based format.
It is safe to assume that BITSAT 2022 will be conducted in a mode similar to the previous session. Even the schedule and sequence of events will remain the same as last year, barring the postponement due to COVID-19. So, candidates can refer to last year’s information brochure and schedule for more clarity about the entrance test.
JEE Main 2022 – Any Updates?
Although BITS provided some clarity to Engineering aspirants, NTA is yet to comment on the upcoming JEE Main 2022 examination. News reports published on a daily basis claim the application form to release soon. However, this “soon” does not seem to have an expiry date. So, while waiting for the application form to release, candidates are advised to visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in or reliable news portals for valuable updates.
