JEE Main 2021 exam date, how many times it will be conducted will be announced today, on 16 December 2020, at 6 PM. Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced this via a video that he has uploaded on his twitter account.

He says that the Education Ministry has received suggestions from many students about the conduct of the exams. They have given all the suggestions to NTA. On the basis of all the genuine inputs, NTA and the bodies concerned have discussed and decided details of JEE Main 2021.
On the basis of the suggestions and discussions, details of JEE Main 2021 that have been decided about exam date, how many times it should be conducted, will be announced today. He (the Education Minister) will make the announcements today at 6 PM.
It may be noted that yesterday, NTA had mistakenly published an information brochure on jeemain.nta.nic.in. as per it, JEE Main 2021 will be conducted 4 times – Feb, March, April, May. And the exam dates for the JEE Main Feb exam is to be 22nd to 25th February 2021.
Also, as per the brochure, the application form was supposed to be released yesterday, and the last date to apply was supposed to be January 15, 2021. The brochure also mentioned that syllabus will not change but the pattern will be new to accommodate students who are studying in boards with reduced syllabus.
As per the changed exam pattern, JEE Main 2021 paper 1 will have three subjects – physics, chemistry, mathematics. In each subject there will be 2 sections – A and B. In section A, there will be 20 compulsory MCQs, and in section B there will be 10 numerical value type questions, of which, candidates have to answer any 5.
Now whether these details will remain the same, or there will be any change, will be clear today at 6 PM when finally JEE Main 2021 details get announced.
