What is NTA Score?
Students are confused about NTA Score. A candidate getting 100 percentile indicates that the candidate has scored highest raw score, in their session. The percentile score or the NTA Score is calculated through a formula, which is: 100 multiplied by (X) Number of candidates, in a session, who scored upto or below a candidate divided by (÷) Total Number of candidates in a session.
Who will Get JEE Main 2019 AIR 1?
These 15 candidates are for sure topper of JEE Main January 2019 and similarly, NTA will announce toppers for JEE Main April 2019 exam. Once the 100 percentiles for both the exams has been determined, NTA will use the tie breaking method to determine who among these is worthy of JEE Main 2019 AIR 1.
For breaking the tie, NTA will first consider the percentile score in Mathematics. If the tie still prevails then the percentile score in Physics and Chemistry will be used. If the scores are not enough to break the tie, then NTA will allocate higher rank to the elder candidate. In rare cases, where the age factors will also fail, same rank shall be allocated to the candidates.
