National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key of JEE Main 2019. It has been released on jeemain.nic.in, at 8:00 pm. The release of the final answer key is a clear indication that the result of JEE Main 2019 will also be announced very soon. The tabs on the official website are changing, again indicating that the result can be announced anytime soon.
The final answer key has been released as pdf. It is the master answer key of JEE Main and on the basis of it, the result of JEE Main 2019 has been prepared. To download it, go to the official website and click on “Final Answer Key: JEE-Main April 2019”. Following this, the answer key pdf will open.
The result of JEE Main 2019 will be available at jeemain.nic.in. In order to check it, the candidates need to visit the website and click on the tab for “JEE Main April Result 2019”. On accessing it, a new login will open. To open it, candidates will have to enter their application number and date of birth / password. The candidates can check their All India Rank, section wise percentile score and the overall percentile score of the exam. As per the best percentile score of the candidates out of April and January attempt, the AIR has been declared.
NTA will not send the intimation of the result declaration via any other mode. It will be the responsibility of the candidates to check the result from the official website as and when it is declared.
A total of 9,29,198 students registered for the JEE Main in January against 9,35,741 who registered for the April exam. In the April session, In the April session, 6,543 more candidates have registered for the exam in paper 1. However, for paper 2 the number of registered candidates dropped from 1,80,052 in January to 1,69,767 in April. This indicates a drop of 10,285 candidates in paper 2.
After the result is declared the candidates who are declared eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2019 as per the cutoff scores have registered for the exam. The JEE Advanced 2019 registrations are starting from May 03, 2019. JEE Advanced is for admission in the IITs.
The candidates who are not eligible for the Advanced exam, can appear for the CSAB/JoSAA counselling for admission in the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs. The counselling is done in the online mode and the candidates have to register for the counselling too to participate in the seat allotment.
JEE Main 2019 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the first time. The exam was held in a total CBT mode. This year, the analysis of the exam has revealed that the paper was moderate in the difficulty level. Physics was the toughest section and Chemistry the easiest one. Mathematics remained a moderate section. This is the first time that NTA is declaring the result in percentile format as the exam was held over multiple days and shifts.
