After receiving over 9.65 lakhs online applications, NTA has finally opened the JEE Main 2019 Application Form Correction window. Candidates will be required to visit the official website of JEE Main 2019 and log in to their application portals in order to rectify their mistakes. The correction window was made active for making changes from today i.e October 8, 2018, 10 AM onwards.
And as per the confirmation received earlier, this application correction window will remain open till 11:50 pm on October 14, 2018. These 6 days period, given to all the candidates should be treated as the final, one-time chance to edit the application form details. Also, each candidate must note that no changes will be accepted in offline mode i.e via fax or postal services.
Candidates will find that not all the details will be available for correction purpose and also there would not be an option for making changes in the photograph and signature uploaded by an applicant, along with the choice of exam cities provided. NTA has closed the JEE Main 2019 Application form process on October 1, 2018.
Without, much delay candidates can start making the full use of the correction window. Note that, a candidate will be required to pay a specified amount of fee to make some changes over the correction window. The payment will only be accepted via any of these payment gateways -Credit Card, Debit card or Net banking & UPI. Only, after paying off the specified amount, a candidate will be able to successfully submit the changes he or she has made.
Candidates keep their document proofs like Class 10, 12 mark sheets, along with provided government ID proof ready to correct their education-related and personal details, respectively. The details provided by a candidate must match to the details printed in their corresponding proof. Otherwise, a candidate’s candidature will be canceled.
On October 05, 2018, NTA had also activated the link to check the allotted exam date, time and shift for JEE Main 2019 January Exam. Examination will be conducted even on weekdays between January 06-20, 2018.

After the application form correction window closes, NTA will be issuing admit cards for this national level engineering/architecture examination. Candidates will be able to find the JEE Main 2019 admit card retrieval link over their application portals.
