National Testing Agency( NTA) has released the JEE Main 2019 Admit Card today, on December 17, 2018 at 5:53 pm . Candidates who have successfully applied for JEE Main January 2019 can now download the admit card from jeemain.nic.in. The examination will be held between January 6 to 20 2019 and exam date, time, center address and other details is available on the hall ticket.
The JEE Main 2019 admit card is available only in the official login. This time, candidates can download it either by submitting application number and password or application number and date of birth. To download the admit card, go to the website and click on “download admit card” tab. Then choose how you wish to download the admit card and enter the details. In doing so the Admit card that will be available on the screen. Candidates have to download the same.
After that, the candidates will also have to take multiple printouts of the admit card. There is no hard and fast rule regarding carrying a black and white or coloured print out of the JEE Main 2019 Hall Ticket/Admit Card.
The candidates are advised to completely check the downloaded admit card for any discrepancy before taking the printouts. In case of any mistake, it must be informed to NTA and required corrections are to be made before the exam date. The details mentioned on the admit card are: Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Candidate’s Parents/ Guardian Name, Course Details, Examination Test Venue, Permanent Address Details, State Of Eligibility, Exam Date and Time.
JEE Main is a national level examination that is being conducted by NTA for the first time. It is expected that almost 9.65 lakh students all over India will be appearing for the test in the JEE Main 2019 Exam.
Being a national level examination it is mandatory that the admit card with a valid ID must be carried at the exam centre. Without these two documents, no candidates will be allowed inside the centre. The valid photo ID proof can be any of these: PAN card, Aadhar card, Driving license, Passport etc.
Now, in case a candidate forgets any of their login credentials that is application number or password, there is an option on the jeemain.nic.in to recover the same. There will be a link like the one shown below to recover the application number or password.
JEE Main 2019 examination is near the corner so, start the final preparations now: Take out all the notes to go through once, Write down the most important formulas and stick it around your study space. Check the admit card for all the centre and timing details properly in order to avoid the last-minute fuss.
