Candidates will able to download the hall tickets from the official website of XAT at http://www.xatonline.ac.in. In order to access the admit card, applicants will need User Id and Password as received during the registration process.

Candidates will get only 15 days to download the XAT 2019 Hall Ticket. The window to access the admit card will be closed three days before the day of examination on January 03, 2019. Also, in this limited time window candidates must check if all the details printed on the admit card are correct. In case of errors, please contact the exam authorities immediately.

This year, the examination is scheduled to take place on January 06, 2019, between 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM. Candidates have to reach their respective centres latest by 08:45 AM with the copy of admit card and the photo identity proof. Also, affix a colored passport photgraph on the admit card. Only after the proper document verification and biometric process, candidates will be allowed to sit on their respective systems.

This year, there has been a few changes in the XAT 2019 Exam Pattern. In the exam, there will be no Essay Writing section and the total time duration for the exam has also been reduced. This section has been removed due to technical glitches appeared in the exam last year. Apart from this, XAT will follow the same pattern. It will be a computer-based test having Multiple Choice Questions with 5 options each. There will be four sections naming Decision Making, Quantitative Ability, English Language & Logical Reasoning, and General Knowledge.

The scores of XAT 2019 are accepted by XLRI and other 150+ b-schools.

In order to prepare for the exam, candidates can refer to previous year question papers. Also, candidates must take mock tests according to the exam pattern of XAT. For the reasoning section, solve distribution puzzles and critical reasoning questions based on assumption-conclusion-strengthing.

In the English section, it is important to revise the grammar rules and vocab-based questions. Also, revise figure of speech, sentence transformation etc. The data interpretation and quantitative section can be prepared with CAT level questions. For the general awareness section, revise the current affairs of last 9-10 months.
