JEE Main 2019 April attempt ends today, on April 12, 2019. 9,35,741 candidates have registered for paper 1 exam that started on April 08, 2019. For paper 2, 1,15,767 candidates have registered that was held on one day on April 07, 2019 and in 2 shifts. As per the overall analysis and initial reaction of the candidates, the paper till now was easier than the January attempt. Also, Physics remained the toughest section out of all, Mathematics was difficult on the shift 2 of April 10, 2019, however it remained in the moderate difficulty level. Chemistry reminded the easiest section so far.

11:30 AM | It is being expected that NTA shall release the official JEE Main 2019 answer key for April session on April 15, 2019 and on April 14, 2019 for JEE Main 2019 response sheet and question paper.

7:30 AM | Few candidates are seen with last minute preparation outside the exam center. Till now, the overall difficulty of the paper has remained moderate.
7:00 AM | The candidates and their parents have started to gather at the exam center, the gate of the centers will be opening shortly.
Till now, we have seen, as per the analysis, that candidates have felt JEE Main 2019 April session is easier than the January exam. Probably, because of their preparations of the Boards. Apparently, Physics was seen to be the toughest of all the 3 sections, whereas Chemistry was the easiest. Mathematics received a mixed reaction from candidates, therefore making it a section of “moderate” difficulty level.
The official answer key is expected to be released by April 15, whereas the response sheet & question paper is expected to be released, a day prior, that is on April 14. This conclusion regarding the release dates has been made on the basis of JEE Main 2019 January session. As, in the January session, the exam for all the shifts and papers ended on January 12 and the answer key, question paper and response sheet were released on January 14 & 15, respectively.
Candidates are also given the facility to challenge the official JEE Main 2019 answer key. To challenge the provisional answer key, a candidate needs to submit Rs. 1000, in online mode only. Furthermore, the authorities look into the challenges received and verify the answers, once more. In case, the authority finds any mistakes in the released answer key, the candidate is provided withe a refund of the amount paid. If not, then no refund is provided. It then, releases the final JEE Main 2019 answer key, again on its official website, which cannot be further challenged.
The result of the paper 1 exam will be out by April 30, 2019, and the result for the paper 2 exam will be declared by May 15, 2019.
