The Loksabha Election dates are affecting the dates the many national level entrance examinations. in this direction, another change of exam date has been declared. JEE Advanced 2019 exam date has been pushed back to May 27, 2019, from May 19, 2019.
The initial exam date of JEE Advanced 2019 was clashing with the dates of the last phase of the Lok Sabha election. Thus, IIT Roorkee has announced the changes in the exam dates. The exam will be held across India and abroad in online mode on the newly announced date.
JEE Advanced 2019 exam is being held in 2 shifts. The first shift is from 09:00 AM to 12:00 noon, in this shift paper 1 will be conducted. Paper 2 is going to be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, this is the shift 2.
The information brochure for the exam is not yet available. The website says that the information brochure is going to be updated soon. The application forms are expected to be released in the last week of April 2019 or in the first week of May 2019.
Every year the almost the top 2 lakh candidates who qualify JEE Main exam are allowed to register for the JEE Advanced 2019 Exam. The JEE Main 2019 Admit Card for the April exam is releasing on March 20, 2019. This year too, the top lot of JEE Main 2019 exam will be eligible to take part in the JEE Advanced 2019 Exam.
JEE Advanced 2019 is an online examination. The exam will have questions in English and Hindi language both. there will be 2 papers in the exam, the candidates have to attempt both the papers compulsorily. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours in which the candidates have to attempt all the questions.
The marking scheme of the exam keeps changing each year. the exam may have the concept of full marks, Partial marks, Zero marks, and Negative marks. The proper scheme is disclosed at the time of examination. However, there will be questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. the type of questions can be any one or both MCQ and Numerical Answer Type.
Qualifying the JEE Advanced 2019 exam allows the candidates to take admission in 10+2 level programmes at the IITs. This includes 4years degree courses like B.Tech, B.S, 5-year courses like B.Arch, 5 Year dual degree courses like B.Tech – M.Tech, B.S. – M.S. and 5 years integrated masters of M.Tech, M.Sc. Dual degrees.
