NID DAT Prelims Result 2019 for BDes and GDPD Postponed, Result to be Out on 20 Mar

NID DAT PRELIMS 2019 RESULT POSTPONED FOR BDES AND GDPD

The National Institute of Design (NID) has postponed the result for DAT Prelims 2019 for BDes and GDPD. The result for DAT Prelims for BDes and GDPD was supposed to be out today, however, the Institute has announced on its website that the result will now be announced on March 20, 2019, at 04:00 PM. The reason as to why the result has been postponed has not been disclosed by the officials yet.

The candidates will be able to check their NID entrance exam result online on the website, admissions.nid.edu. On the homepage of the website, click on the “Login” link to check BDes and GDPD DAT Prelims Result. In the next screen, the candidates will then have to log in by entering their Email ID and Password in the specified fields. Click on the “Submit” button and then in the next screen, the candidates will be able to check their result.

It has been observed that this is not the first time that the Institute has postponed the entrance exam. Recently, the result was also postponed for entrance exam of NID DAT Prelims 2019 for MDes. The result for DAT Prelims 2019 for MDes was supposed to be out on February 15, 2019, however, it got delayed and the result was then announced on February 20, 2019.

The result for NID DAT Prelims 2019 for BDes and GDPD consist of details such as the name of the candidate, category, date of birth, photo & signature of the candidate, total marks obtained in the exam, marks obtained in each section, overall score, result status, etc.

The candidates should note that the Institute does not the printed copy of the result for NID DAT Prelims 2019 to the candidates individually by post/ courier. Hence, it is the responsibility of the candidate to check the result online from the official website.

To qualify the DAT Prelims 2019 for BDes and GDPD programme, the candidates need to obtain minimum cut off marks. Only those who obtain marks equal to or greater than the cut off marks will be declared as qualified in the entrance examination.

The qualifiers of the DAT Prelims 2019 for BDes and GDPD, will be then eligible to appear for DAT Mains 2019. The qualified candidates for DAT Main 2019 for BDes and GDPD will be issued the Admit Card. Such candidates will be able to download their admit card online on May 01, 2019 for BDes and GDPD for DAT Main 2019. The exam for DAT Mains 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on May 12 or 19, 2019 for BDes and GDPD programme and on March 11 to April 12, 2019, for MDes programme.
