The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is conducting the ICSE and ISC semester 1 examination for classes 10th and 12th across the country. The ISC Environmental Science semester 1 examination was conducted today, dated December 17, 2021. The students had to reach their respective exam center half an hour early according to the CISCE guidelines. The ISC Environmental Science examination was conducted for a duration of 90 minutes from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The conducting body decided to reduce the semester 1 syllabus and change the examination pattern owing to the hindrance caused by the pandemic. The bifurcated syllabus, revised exam pattern, and specimen paper for all the ISC examinations are already published on the official portal of the board, CISCE i.e cisce.org.in.
According to the students and the experts, the ISC Environmental Science exam was completely based on the bifurcated syllabus provided by the board. The question paper was based on easy-to-moderate level questions and could be easily completed within the provided time duration. The question paper pattern seemed familiar to the students who practiced from the provided specimen paper.

The ISC Environmental Science examination is conducted in two parts: theory-based and practical-based examination. The theory-based examination is conducted for a total of 70 marks and the remaining 30 marks are provided for the practical examination. The theory exam of Environmental Science consisted of a total of 70 questions which were compulsory to attempt. Additional 15 minutes were provided to the students to read the entire question paper.
While some of the unofficial answer keys for Environmental Science are released by the online educational platforms, the official answer key is also expected to be released. The official answer key for the ISC Environmental Science will be released on the official portal of the conducting body, CISCE i.e cisce.org.
