The ISC Class 12 Environmental Science semester 1 examination was conducted by the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) today, dated December 17, 2021. The theory-based examination was held for a duration of one and a half hours from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm across the country. As per the CISCE guidelines, the students were asked to report to their respective exam center half an hour early to avoid any inconvenience. The ISC Environmental Science examination was conducted in pen and paper offline mode. The examination was based on the revised exam pattern and bifurcated syllabus decided by the conducting body due to the Covid-19 scenario. The students were already provided with the bifurcated syllabus, exam pattern, and specimen paper of every ISC subject by the conducting body on their official website i.e cisce.org.

The students reported that the question paper was entirely centered around the provided syllabus and the questions were doable. The provided time duration was enough to complete the entire question paper. The question paper was based on the specimen paper the board provided. The question paper consisted of 70 questions consisting of a total of 70 marks which were compulsory to attempt by the students in order to score a perfect 70/70 score. The students can go through various private websites and youtube to check the unofficial answer keys to be sure about the answers as all of them are unofficial. The in-depth analysis of the Environmental Science examination is also provided by many educators to help the students analyze their performance and work for the second semester accordingly.
Since the entire question paper was based on objective-type questions, the students are eagerly waiting for the official answer keys so that they don’t have to wait for the final ISC results. The official answer key for ISC EVS is going to be released on the official website of the board, CISCE i.e cisce.org.in.
