The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is conducting the ICSE and ISC examinations for classes 10th and 12th. The ISC class 12 semester 1 Computer Science exam was conducted today, dated December 15, 2021. The ISC Computer Science examination was a pen paper-based offline mode exam. The theory-based examination of Computer Science was held for a duration of one and a half hours from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. This session onwards the conducting body decided to reduce the semester 1 syllabus for all the examinations. The students were already provided with the bifurcated syllabus, specimen paper, and revised examination pattern on the official portal of the board, CISCE i.e cisce.org.in.
The students reported that the ISC Computer Science examination was based on the revised examination pattern and the questions seemed familiar to the students who had practiced from the Computer Science specimen paper provided by the conducting body. The question paper was centered around the provided bifurcated syllabus and nothing was out of the syllabus. The question paper was not lengthy and the students were able to complete the entire paper within the provided duration.
The question paper consisted of questions from all the units present in the reduced syllabus. These units are Boolean Algebra, Computer Hardware, Implementations of Algorithms to solve problems, Programming in Java, Objects, Primitive Values, Wrapped classes, Types and Casting, Variables, Expressions, Statements and Scopes, Methods, Array and Strings. The questions were based on the topics from these units and the students found it convenient to solve them.
The ISC Computer Science examination is conducted in two parts, theory-based, and practical-based examination. This theory-based examination of Computer Science was entirely based on MCQ format questions and the students were supposed to mark their answers in the OMR sheet. The students can search for the in-depth analysis about the Computer Science examination posted by several educators on online platforms like Youtube, Telegram, etc. The exam analysis will help the students to recall their exam performance and will get to know about their mistakes. The unofficial answer keys are released by many online educational platforms as soon as the exam is conducted for the students to calculate their probable scores.
Since the question paper was entirely based on MCQ format questions, students are waiting for the answer keys to be released so that they don’t have to wait for the official results. However, many educators have started releasing the unofficial answer keys on their platforms to help the students analyze their performance. The official answer key for the ISC Computer Science examination is expected to be released soon on the official portal of the conducting body, CISCE i.e cisce.org.in. The students are required to keep checking the portal for any latest information regarding the ISC Computer Science answer key.
