The ISC Computer Science semester 1 examination was conducted today, dated December 15, 2021. The ISC examinations are administered by the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) for semester 1 of the session 2021- 2022. The theory-based ISC Computer Science examination was conducted in pen-paper-based mode offline. The students were provided a duration of 90 minutes from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm for the examination. The conducting body earlier decided the bifurcated syllabus for the ISC semester 1 examination. The examination pattern, bifurcated syllabus, and specimen paper are already published on the official website of the board, CISCE i.e cisce.org.in.
The students reported that the ISC Computer Science examination was entirely based on the provided syllabus and the questions could be easily attempted by those who prepared themselves from the Computer Science specimen paper provided by the board.

The ISC examinations are being conducted in an MCQ format question paper. Therefore, the students can easily check their performance with the help of unofficial answer keys released by the educators. Many online educators and educational platforms release the unofficial answer keys for the students to calculate their probable scores. As reported, the question paper was based on the units present in the bifurcated syllabus which includes Boolean Algebra, Implementations of Algorithms to solve problems, Computer Hardware, Programming in Java, Primitive Values, Wrapped classes, Objects, Types and Casting, Statements and Scopes, Variables, Methods, Expressions, Array and Strings. The students were provided all the MCQ based on topics from these units. The question paper was doable and students were able to solve the entire paper within the given duration.
Since the ISC Computer Science examination had all objective-based questions, the answer keys by various online educational platforms are released to help the students analyze their performance in the exam. The official answer key for ISC Computer Science is also expected to be released soon on the portal of the conducting body i.e cisce.org.in. The answer key will be published in the form of a PDF so that the students can easily download it and cross-check their answers.
