Questions in English II were categorized into one compulsory textual question on the Shakespearean play The Tempest: William Shakespeare (Act III), together with four other questions on at least three texts, which include proses and poetry from Echoes, a collection of stories, and Reverie, a collection of poems. In addition, a total of 8 questions were asked. There were 2 questions from The Tempest, 3 questions from Echoes, and 3 questions from Reverie. The question paper totaled 100 marks, and a duration of 3 hours was provided to write the answers.
