Indian Railways Recruitment 2020: 07 Vacancies for Anesthetic & GDMO in DLW Varanasi, Get Notification @dlw.indianrailways.gov.in

DLW, Varanasi is inviting experienced and MBBS degree holders for Contract Medical Practitioner (CMP) recruitment

Indian Railways is inviting online application for the post of Anesthetic and GDMO in Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) Health Unit, Varanasi. Eligible candidates can submit their application for 07 vacant posts. The forms can be submitted through Whatsapp. Retired Doctors and candidates from “open market” can submit their forms before the last date which is July 25, 2020. The selection of the candidates is based on the walk-in-interview conducted by Diesel Locomotive Work, Varanasi. Candidates interested in the recruitment can download the Notice no. DLW/298/209/82E/(HC)Pt-V from the official website, dlw.indianrailways.gov.in.

Out of the total 07 vacancies, 06 posts are for GDMO and 01 is for Anesthetic. Candidates who are shortlisted under these posts receive Rs. 95,000/- for Anesthetic and Rs. 75,000/- for GDMO post.

Candidates who have acquired a degree in Medicine i.e. MBBS degree from a recognized university by Indian Medical Council are eligible to apply for the announced posts. However, the preference is given to Retired Railways Doctors. Also, applicants must have completed their rotational internships along with the degree. Candidates must have a specialist degree in MD/DNB/Diploma or of the category they are applying for. The retired railways doctors who are applying for Anesthetic and GDMO post have to produce evidence of their government service.

Along with the eligibility criteria, applicants must have relevant work experience for the post. Candidates who have served Indian Railways (including those on contractual basis) should indicate their service period. Besides, candidates age should not be more than the upper age limit which is 53 years. The upper age limit for Retired Railways Doctors is 65 years. Indian Railways calculates the age as on July 01, 2020.

Eligible candidates can download their application form from dlw.indianrailways.gov.in. Retired doctor and candidates from “open market” can submit their forms. They have to scan the filled in application form, and relevant documents and submit it through WhatsApp on mobile number 7897145555 or email ID – [email protected]. Candidates have to attach recent passport size photograph, a certificate indicating the date of birth, internship certificate, registration certificate, specialist degree (MD/DNB/Diploma), if retired from railways, then attach relevant evidence for the service of their government service such as payment orders.

The selection of candidates is conducted through the walk-in-interview round. The interview will be organized online through WhatsApp calling. So, it is advised to provide a valid mobile number in the application form. The interview is scheduled for July 29, 2020, at 11:00 AM. The candidates are recruited on a temporary basis up to December 31, 2020. Know more about the terms and condition of the Medical Practitioners by referring to the official notification.
