Today i.e. March 11, 2019, Indian Coast Guard released the admit card for Navik GD 02/2019 examination at joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. The admit card has been issued for the online examination to be held on May 07, 2019. For downloading the admit card candidates have to enter the application number /registration id. Up to March 21, 2019 candidates will be able to download the admit card. The candidates who have enlisted their names for the recruitment examination in time for those admit card has been issued.
After downloading the Indian Coast Guard Navik Admit Card 02/2019 it is mandatory thoroughly check it for any discrepancies. In case candidate found any discrepancy then it can be resolved by communicating to the Coast Guard. Admit Card downloading window (login window) will be reactivated on April 07, 2019.
On the day of the examination, the candidates have to carry the 03 copies of the admit card along with the valid photo identity proof. The candidate shall bring the latest identical color passport size photographs. The photograph should not be old more than 01 months and should have a blue background.
In addition, to the above, the candidates have to bring the printed copy of application form, where the photograph should be pasted at the botted and signed by the candidate itself. The candidates have been directed to bring a set of application form and all xerox copies of important documents (10th mark sheet. 12th mark sheet, Caste certificate if applicable, Domicile Certificate if applicable) to submit it at the exam center. All the documents should be self-attested by the candidates. On failing to submit the documents the candidates won’t be allowed to write the exam.
The selection of the candidates is based on the online examination, followed by the physical fitness test and medical examination. The candidates are firstly called for the written examination to be held in objective type. The question in the examination will be asked from Maths, Physics, basic Chemistry, knowledge of English, General knowledge, current affairs, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning. The standard of the exam will be 10+2 level.
The qualifiers of the written examination will be called for the PFT and preliminary medical examination. In PFT the candidates have to perform the physical tasks such as run of 1.7 kilometers, Squats ups (Uthak baithak) and push-ups.
The Indian Coast Guard will release the provisional select list in the month of June/ July 2019. A zone wise select list will be displayed on the official website at joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. At last the selected candidates will be called for the Detailed Medical Examination at INS Chika, and the qualifier will have the name in Final select list.
