Indian Coast Guard (ICG) recently issued two important notifications, providing important details about the upcoming CGEPT 2022 and CGCAT 2022 examination. Notifications have been released in PDF format, on the official website joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in. Accordingly, candidates appearing for either of the exams are instructed to check their exam date by logging in to the official website. Depending on the exam date, candidates will be issued their admit cards at least 48-72 hours (or 2-3 days) in advance.
ICG CGEPT 2022 Notification
ICG has planned on organizing the CGEPT 2022 examination in March 2022, for the recruitment of qualified individuals to fill up the post of Yantrik and Navik. As per the latest notification issued by the ICG, the following is the instructions given to candidates pertaining to the exam date and admit card –
The Exam Date and the name of the allocated Exam City will be made available at ICG web portal: https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/cgept in your login ID w.e.f. 15 Mar 22 (1700 hrs).
For instance, if a candidate has his/her exam on March 19, 2022, he/she will be issued the CGEPT 2022 admit cards between March 16-17, 2022. They are required to carry their admit cards along with their Class 10 marksheet (original), valid photo ID (as submitted during registration) and two passport-size colour photographs.
All those who have registered for the upcoming CGEPT 2022 examination need to log in to the official portal using their registered email ID and password. The exam date and city will also be notified to each candidate on the same email address.
ICG CGCAT 2022 Notification
In addition to CGEPT 2022, ICG has also released an official notification informing candidates about the upcoming CGCAT 2022 examination. This exam is being organised for recruiting qualified individuals to fulfill the post of Assistant Manager. As per the official notification, the following are the details mentioned about admit card and exam date –
The Exam Date and the name of the allocated Exam City will be made available at ICG web portal: https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/ in your login ID w.e.f. 14 Mar 22 (1700 hrs).

Similar to CGEPT 2022, candidates who have registered for the CGCAT 2022 examination will be issued admit cards at least 2-3 days prior to the exam date. They will also be notified via email on their registered email ID about the exam date, city and admit card release. The rest of the instructions including the document to carry for the exam center also remain the same.
