IIT Roorkee has published the complete schedule for JEE Advanced 2019 today. The online registration for JEE Advanced 2019 will start from May 03, 2019. Furthermore, it has also been notified that the exam date for JEE Advanced 2019 has been revised due to the clash with the General Elections 2019. The entrance exam which was earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 19, 2019, has been now been rescheduled and will now be conducted on May 27, 2019.
The JEE Advanced 2019 examination will be held in Online mode in two shifts. Paper 1 is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Paper 2 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The entrance exam will be conducted at various test cities located in India and abroad.
The online registration for JEE Advanced 2019 can be done till May 09, 2019 at jeeadv.ac.in. Now, in order to apply for JEE Advanced 2019, the candidate should be among top 2,24,000 performers in JEE Main 2019 paper. Furthermore, the applicant should not have appeared in JEE Advanced in 2017 or earlier and should have appeared for class 12 or equivalent exam for the first time in 2018 or 2019.
The registration fee for JEE Advanced 2019 can be paid until May 10, 2019. Soon after the registration process gets over candidates will be able to download their JEE Advanced 2019 admit card. It is going to be issued online at the official website from May 20, 2019, till the examination date. It can be downloaded by only registered candidates who submits and pays the application fee before the last date.
Candidates should know that JEE Advanced is the second stage of Joint Entrance Examination. It is conducted to offer admission into the engineering programs of the prestigious IITs or the Indian Institutes of Technology. This exam is conducted by the 7 zonal IITs on a rotational basis. JEE Advanced is considered to be one of the most difficult yet most popular engineering entrance examinations among the aspirants. There are a total of 23 IITs in India with approximately 11279 seats.
Once the entrance exam is conducted successfully at all the test centers, IIT Roorkee will publish the candidate response sheet from May 29, 2019, till 01, June 2019 and the answer key will then be displayed online on 04, June 2019. In case of any errors in the answer key candidates will be able to submit the same till 05, June 2019.
After the examination, candidates will able to check their result on the official website on 14 June 2019. The admission through JEE Advance takes place via the counselling process. On the basis of All India Rank, the seat allocation at IITs will take place.
Candidates must check the exam pattern of JEE Advanced before starting its preparation. The paper will take place in online mode. The test will be of three (03) hours duration and will be divided into two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The exact number and type of questions are not released before the exam. However, students must prepare from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Subjects. For better practice, candidates can also refer to the previous year question paper and take mock tests.
