IIT Bombay Extends CEED 2022, UCEED 2022 Registration Deadlines, Submit Self Declaration If Certificate Not Available

The application fee relevant for UCEED and CEED 2021 is INR 3500 and 3200 for the unreserved candidates. A late fine of INR 500 is applicable for candidates who pay application fee after deadline.

IIT Bombay has extended the registration deadline for CEED and UCEED 2022 till October 17, 2021. Also, candidates having required eligibility can now register themselves on the official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in till October 22, 2021, with a late fine of INR 500.

Earlier, the last date to register for IIT Bombay UCEED 2022 was October 10, 2021 however the same has been extended by 7 days. The UCEED and CEED 2022 exam is scheduled for January 23, 2022, from 9 am to 12 pm. The admit card download for the exams is going to commence from January 08, 2022. Whereas, the final result for CEED and UCEED is going to be declared on March 8 and March 10, 2021, respectively.

The authorities have also notified that reserved category candidates who are unable to submit a valid certificate issued after April 01, 2021, can upload a signed self-declaration to complete their UCEED 2022 application form. Candidates who are successful in clearing the UCEED examination stand a chance to get admission to Bachelor of Design (B.Des). Whereas CEED exam is been held to provide admission in Master of Design (M.Des) offered by top IITs and IISC Bangalore.

Candidates who have not yet registered for the UCEED and CEED 2022 can follow the steps mentioned below to register for the upcoming examination:

Step 1: Visit the official portal of UCEED, CEED

Step 2: On the homepage, click on registration link and enter a valid email id

Step 3: After this, mention basic details, address along with dob and check the eligibility

Step 4: Next, enter personal details, detailed address, educational qualification, exam cities and upload photograph and signature

Step 5: In the end, pay the application fee applicable for candidate’s category using any online payment channel

The application fee relevant for UCEED and CEED 2021 is INR 3500 and 3200 for the unreserved candidates. For the female and reserved category, the application fee is INR 1750 and 1600 respectively. A late fine of INR 500 is applicable for candidates who pay application fee after the deadline.

Documents required with UCEED, CEED 2022 application form

Candidates applying for UCEED, CEED 2022 need to keep the following set of documents handy while filling the application form:

  • Valid ID proof
  • Academic certificate
  • Category cerificate
  • PWD certificate
  • Duly signed self declaration form if category certificate is not available
  • Scanned copy of photograph and signature in the range of 5 kb to 100 kb
  • Scanned copy of qualifying exam certificate in the range of 30 kb to 500 kb
