Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has published the candidate response sheet of the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2021 exam. JAM 2021 was conducted by the IISc on February 14, 2021, as a computer-based test. Now that the exam is over, the candidate response sheet is available through candidate login. Interested candidates who took the test can download it from the website by entering the registered email ID and Password. JAM 2021 answer keys also release on the official website following which, the results and scorecard are published.
IISc Bangalore conducts the Joint Admission Test for Master’s (JAM) as an entrance test admission to Masters & Joint Master’s-Research degree at the Institute. Based on the score of candidates in the exam held on February 14, 2021, one can get admission to courses such as M.Sc, MA Economics, Joint M.Sc-Ph.d and M.Sc-Ph.d dual degree in the academic session commencing in 2021. Candidates taking the test are evaluated on the basis of their responses against each question. The response sheet of individual candidates are now available at the official website.
How to download JAM 2021 Response Sheet?
Checking out the candidate response sheet is a fairly easy task that involved two or three basic steps. At first, candidates have to visit the official website i.e. jam.iisc.ac.in. Once at the homepage, candidates can see the rolling notification regarding the release of the candidate response sheet.
By clicking on the link in the rolling notification, candidates are redirected to the login page. Here, one must enter the login credentials generated during online applications. Candidates can enter either Enrollment Number or Email ID in the first field and their password in the second field. After this, one must solve a simple arithmetic equation, enter the answer in the designated field and click on “Submit”. Once logged in, the candidate response sheet can be seen displayed on the screen. Candidates may generate a print out of the sheet after downloading them on their device.
Significance of JAM 2021 Candidate Response Sheet
The candidate response sheet is a full proof way of identifying if a candidate has answered all the questions correctly. With the JAM answer keys at hand, candidates can compare the answers in the response sheet with the correct answer to each question in the official answer key. In this way, the total number of correct and incorrect answers can be easily determined.
In addition to the determination of the number of correct and incorrect answers in the JAM exam, candidates can also predict their final raw score based on the marking criteria. As per JAM 2021 exam pattern, there are 1 marks MCQ & 2 marks MCQ. Similarly, there are also 1 mark NAT questions and 2 marks NAT questions. 1/3rd marks is deducted for 1 marks question and 2/3rd marks are deducted for 2 marks questions.
