The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) will be releasing the application forms for admission to the PG Diploma in language journalism courses 2022-23 tomorrow, i.e. June 10, 2022. Interested candidates must download the application forms from the official website iimc.gov.in. It must be noted that the last date for submitting the online application forms is July 10, 2022. IIMC will be conducting the entrance examination for Odia, Marathi, Malayalam and Urdu journalism courses on July 31, 2022 from 11 AM to 2 PM.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are Indian nationals and have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university will be eligible to apply for the IIMC entrance exam 2022. However, the candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the final year or semester of their undergraduate course can also apply. The category-wise age has been given in the table below.

As per the eligibility criteria mentioned on the official website, candidates who are in their final year or semester of their undergraduate degree must produce the original mark sheet or certificate by September 30, 2022 in case they are selected for admission. It is noteworthy that on the completion of the course, the diploma will be awarded to these candidates if they produce the original degree certificate for verification purposes. Application Form
It has been already mentioned that the application forms have to be downloaded from the official IIMC website – iimc.gov.in. After downloading the application form, the candidate needs to fill out the same using their own handwriting. However, the form has to be submitted in either Odia, Marathi, Malayalam or Urdu language. The candidate needs to paste their recent self-attested passport-sized photograph on the application form.
After filling out the application form, the same can be either submitted in hand or sent via post to the postal address given below. Alternatively, the form along with the relevant documents can be emailed at [email protected]. The last date for submitting the IIMC application form is July 10, 2022.

Application Fee
Candidates have to pay the entrance examination fee via the online mode of payment. For candidates belonging to the General category, the application fee is Rs 800 while the same for OBC-NCL and General EWS categories is Rs 600. SC, ST and Third Gender category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 550 and the ones from the PwBD category should pay Rs 500 as an application fee.
