Indian Institute of Information Technology is conducting a recruitment program for “Training and Placement Officer”. The official notification for the same is out with Advt. No. IIITV/RECRU/NON-TEACHING/2020-21/002 on the official website, iiitvadodara.ac.in. The recruitment is on contract basis for a short tenure. Only 01 posts are announced under the non-teaching staff position. Candidates who are interested in this recruitment can submit their applications before August 31, 2020.
Aspirants shortlisted as an Executive Officer “Training And Placement Officer (TPO)” have to perform tasks related to the placement, career counselling, internship of the students. They must have strong corporate communication skills to bring various job opportunities to the campus. Aspirants are shortlisted for this post through interview round. The candidates have to carry original documents for the verification purpose. The newly appointed Executive Officer receives Rs.56,100/- (Level-10) monthly salary plus transport allowance, Dearness Allowance, HRA, etc. The shortlisted candidates are appointed on a temporary basis during which they are not allowed to take up any other assignment.
Candidates must have acquired Bachelors Degree in any stream with post-graduation in Business Administration in first class. In addition, they must possess 02-03 years of work experience. Preference is given to those who have 02 years experience in a similar field and have good communication skills. Aspirants age should not be more than that of 45 years. Those who are pursuing MBA/PGDM on full time/part-time/correspondence and expected to complete the graduation before August 2020 are also eligible for this recruitment.

The form should be submitted through speed post at Registrar, Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara, Block No-9, c/o Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar, Gujarat – 382028. Mention the post candidates has applied for on the top right corner of the envelope. Besides, a soft copy of the filled application should be sent to [email protected]. Along with the form, candidates have to attach self-attested copies of the age proof, educational qualification, work experience. One page write up on “How can I contribute to the activities of a Placement Officer” should be enclosed with the form.
A non-returnable application fee should be paid by the candidates through offline mode. Applicants have t draw a demand draft in favour of “Indian Institute of Information technology Vadodara” payable at Gandhinagar, Gujarat (SBI Branch Code: 60228). SC/ST/PWDs candidates have to pay Rs. 295/- and other candidates have to pay Rs. 590/- as the application fee. However, female candidates and internal candidates of IIIT Vadodara are exempted from the fee submission.
