The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) had started inviting applications for the B.Ed January 2022 admissions in March 2022. The last date for application submission was recently extended to April 24, tomorrow, by the university. Candidates should submit their applications online, as soon as possible, through the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in. The entrance test is to be expected to be conducted on May 8, 2022.
IGNOU B.Ed 2022 – How to Apply
Note that the photograph and signature should be of the prescribed format and size for successfully uploading them. Candidates can follow the steps given below to submit their application:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the link displaying “Registration for B.Ed and BSCN Entrance Exam for January 2022 session (Last Date – April 24th, 2022)”
Step 3: Click on “B.Ed Registration”
Step 4: On the new page click on “Register Yourself” for New user and “Login”, if an existing user.
Step 5: For new registration enter necessary details like Name of candidate, Father’s name, Date of Birth, Gender, e-mail ID, mobile number etc. Existing users will be able to login using username and password.
Step 6: In this, the candidate will be asked to set a username and password as well
Step 7: Login using these credentials.
Step 8: Fill out all 9 sections of the application form which are: Personal details, programme details, Educational qualifications, Professional Details, Correspondence information, Teaching experience, Document Upload, Confirmation of details and fee remittance.
Step 9: Preview the application and click on the “Accept and Proceed button” after checking the declaration box,
Step 10: IGNOU B.Ed Jan 2022 session registration fee for the entrance test is Rs. 1000. It can be paid by master, visa, or Rupay card (Debit, Credit, or Net Banking). After successful remittance of the application fee, the application will be submitted.

After the application process is concluded IGNOU will open the application correction period. During this time candidates will be able to correct their application forms. However, the start and end dates for application correction have not yet been released officially yet. Many sources have speculated that the application correction window will be activated during the 4th week of April. Candidates are advised to keep a close eye on the official website at ignou.ac.in for updates.
