Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)conducted the B.Ed entrance exam on April 11, 2021. Candidates who took the exam are awaiting the results. Last year, the result was announced 10-12 days after the exam date. It was expected that this year too the result will be announced within this timeline only. Going by that the results were expected around April 21-23, 2021. However, it has yet not been declared.
Thus, the IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2021 result declaration date is still a mystery, however, it is expected soon.
As soon as the result is out, candidates will be able to check the same at ignou.ac.in. The candidates will need their enrollment number to search their results. Apart from individual results, IGNOU also publishes merit lists. Candidates who have a position on the merit list, get the offer letter for admission. The merit lists are published on the official website. All the merit lists are released in descending order according to the score.
Candidates who get the offer letter are selected for admission. If selected the candidates are then required to appear for IGNOU B.Ed 2021 counselling process. The counselling is done at the regional centres. According to the merit list / rank and availability of seat, the counselling is held. The counselling invitation letter is sent to the applicants at least 15 days in advance. Information about the counselling may also be sent through SMS and Emails.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University has released IGNOU B.Ed 2021 admission form in the prospectus. Those who qualify in the entrance test have to submit this form at the time of counselling at the regional centers. Download the IGNOU B.Ed prospectus 2021. On pages 80, 81, there are the application form pages. Print them and fill in all the fields in the form. Also, affix documents needed. Submit the filled in form, with documents, to concerned regional center at the time of admission counselling.
IGNOU B.Ed 2021 is the national level education entrance exam for admission to B.Ed program in IGNOU. The duration of the B.Ed programme is 2 years. Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam and after the submission of original documents and programme fee.
The B.Ed course is a mix of theory and practical courses to facilitate the student-teachers to acquire necessary skills for teaching-learning at secondary / senior secondary level.
IGNOU has also uploaded the answer key, question paper, and response sheet for IGNOU B.Ed entrance exam 2021. The answer key is uploaded online at ignou.nic.in at the candidate’s login. The candidates can use the answer key and question paper together in order to calculate the scores, until the result is out.
