The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has announced the CMA Result 2018 on August 23, 2018. The candidates can check their result by online mode only at examicmai.in or examicmai.org. The result has been announced for Intermediate, Foundation, and Final examination.
To check the CMA June Result 2018, the candidates need to visit the official website. Then click on the programme for which you want to check the result. Next, the candidates need to log in by entering details such as Identification Number/ Registration Number. Click on “Display Result” button to submit the details. Once you submit the details, the result will be available on the screen. It is advised to the candidates to download and take its print out for future reference.
To qualify the examination, a candidate need to obtain at least 40% marks in each paper of the group and at least 50% marks in aggregate in non-exempted papers of the group.
Along with the result, a pass list has also been published online in pdf format. It consists of Roll Number fo the candidates who have qualified, A complete pass list is available for Foundation, Intermediate- Gorp 1 and 2, Final – Group 3 and 4 (Syllabus 2016).
As per the pass list, the number of qualifiers in the Foundation exam is about 3698, 2689 number of candidates qualified in Intermediate, 1240 number of candidates qualified the Final examination. The number of qualifiers in Group 1 are about 1584, in Group 2, it is 372, in Group 3, it is, 338, and in Group 4, it is 501.
The total number of students who have passed the final examination is less than last year, whereas, for the intermediate, the number of qualifiers has increased.
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India conducts the examinations every year to qualify candidates who are eligible for functioning as cost accountants and chartered accountants in the country. The Chartered Accountancy (CA) exam of the ICAI is one of the most coveted exams of the country. The exam is attempted by scores of students across the country while roughly less than 20% are able to pass.
