Here is a news of relief for many Company Secretaries Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2021 candidates, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has allowed the candidates registered for the CSEET 2021 May session to opt-out of it. Additionally, the candidates who opt out of the May 2021 session can move to July 2021 session. They can also carry their fee paid for the May session to the July session.

ICSI announced this news via an official notice on April 27, 2021 at icsi.edu.

To do so, ICSI has started the online facility. Candidates willing to take this opportunity must submit a declaration in the prescribed format available at https://tinyurl.com/9w6tds. This must be completed latest by May 3, 2021. As soon as the declaration is submitted the candidate’s May session enrollment will be cancelled and they will be directly enrolled for the July 2021 session of CSEET.

To submit the declaration candidates have to click follow this URL: https://tinyurl.com/9w6tds. Following this, a google form will open. The declartion form reads:

“CSEET – Request to carry forward the credit of CSEET fee paid by the candidate From May 2021 Session to July , 2021 Session

Directorate of Student Services
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India
ICSl House, C-36, Sector 62

I understand and fully agree to the condition that after submission of this declaration, my Registration for May, 2021 session of CSEET will be cancelled and the same cannot be revived under any circumstances.

I am furnishing hereunder my details for necessary action at your end.

Thanking you,

Next, in the form candidates need to fill in their name, correct CSEET Unique ID ( 9 digit), Registered Email ID, and Registered Mobile Number. On submitting all the details the candidates will be enrolled for the July session and their May 2021 enrollment will be cancelled.

Once the declaration is submitted, no request for its change / revocation will be entertained under any circumstances. Also, this is a one time facility.

ICSI has decided to hold CSEET on May 8, 2021, through remote proctored mode only, instead of conducting the same from Test Centers due to the pandemic situation in the nation. Candidates are allowed to appear for the test through their laptop / desktop from home / such other convenient place.

However, some of the candidates enrolled for this session are not comfortable with the online proctored exam as many are facing the non-availability of Desktop / laptop / non-availability of webcams at desktops or other technical requirements / Internet-related issues. Candidates are also residing in containment zones / Red Zones and do not have access to cyber cafés. Also, some candidates are stuck far from their home and do not have access to the basic requirements to appear in the test.

The notice regarding the opt out facility from CSEET 2021 May session is given below:
