Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has today, December 09, 2021, conducted the ICSE Physics 2021-22 Physics Semester 1 paper. The exam was held for a duration of 1 hour, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, at affiliated schools across the country. All students were expected to mark the right answers in the answer sheet. Since the exam was entirely objective in nature, students can instantly calculate their exam scores, instead of waiting for the results to come out.
CISCE will soon be releasing its own ICSE Physics 2021-22 Physics answer key on the official website cisce.org. However, that will take a few days’ time. Till then, students can refer to unofficial answer keys available online. Several educators have already uploaded dedicated videos discussing today’s paper. While referring to answer key videos, students are advised to keep a notepad and pen handy. So that they can note down the correct options for all questions. This list can then be used to calculate ICSE Physics 2021-22 Physics exam score. Of course, for a more accurate figure, students are advised to refer to 2-3 answer keys and find out the right options.
CISCE will employ a simple, straightforward marking scheme to check today’s ICSE Physics 2021-22 Physics paper. Since there is no negative marking for incorrect answers, the following is the formula that students need to use to calculate their score –
Exam Score Obtained = (No. of Correct Answers) x 1
Today’s ICSE Physics 2021-22 Physics paper was for a maximum of 40 marks for a total of 40 questions. This is another point that students need to keep in mind while calculating their tentative exam scores.
Students however are advised to not waste too much time on calculating today’s exam score as the CISCE will be conducting an exam tomorrow for second languages as well as modern foreign languages. The paper will have a similar marking scheme but for a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. With barely a few hours left to prepare, students must utilize these last few hours preparing for tomorrow’s exam.
