The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has commenced the ICSE class 10 examinations from November 29, 2021. The Mathematics examination is all set to be conducted on December 06, 2021 (Monday) from 11 AM onwards. Students now have less than two days’ time to give a final touch to their preparation. It now seems that most of them are in search of MCQ questions that they can solve and practice.
However, there is nothing to worry about as various educators and coaching institutes have come up with practice papers on their websites and importantly, YouTube. Educators and channels like Sir Tarun Rupani, Vedantu, cisceclass videos, etc. are some of the notable channels that one can refer to. Here are the steps to get access to the ICSE class 10 Mathematics questions.
Step 1- Go to YouTube at youtube.com
Step 2- Type ‘ICSE class 10 Mathematics MCQ questions’
Step 3- Click on the search button after which a list of videos will appear
However, before going through these MCQ questions on YouTube, it is advised to go through the specimen paper first that is released on the official website – cisce.org. The specimen paper is just for reference purposes as it can help students get an idea about the type of questions they can expect on the examination day. The specimen paper is divided into three sections and has a maximum of 40 marks. There are multiple-choice questions and students have to select the correct answer out of the four options. For the ICSE semester 1 examinations, the syllabus has been reduced. The units that will be required for the upcoming examination on Monday are Commercial Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Statistics and Probability. The total marks of the question paper will be 80 while that for the Internal Assessment is 20. As per the syllabus, there will be two sections in the final question paper. Section 1 will comprise compulsory short answer questions. On the other hand, students have to answer 04 out of 07 questions from section 2. Details regarding the evaluation process have also been mentioned in the syllabus.
