The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has released an official notification for the rescheduled timetable of the Foundation Course Examination, Intermediate, and Final Examination of the June 2021 session on its official website icmai.in. As per the new timetable, Foundation Course Examination will be conducted on September 05, 2021, whereas the Intermediate and Final Exam will be conducted from October 21, 2021, to October 28, 2021. Foundation Course Examination will have four papers that will be conducted in two sessions i.e. morning session and afternoon session.
In the morning session, the two papers of Foundation Course Examination i.e. Fundamental of Economics and Management, and Fundamentals of Accounting will be conducted from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Both the papers will have 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 100 marks. In the afternoon session, the other two papers of Foundation Course Examination i.e. Fundamentals of Laws and Ethics, and Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Both the papers will have 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 100 marks. The total marks of each session of Foundation Course Examination is 200.
For the Intermediate and Final Examination, the exam will be conducted for each group on alternate days. The papers of group-1 and group-2 of the Intermediate exam will be conducted in the morning session from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm whereas the group-3 and group-4 papers of the final exam will be conducted in the afternoon session from 02:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Intermediate and Final Examination will be held in online mode and candidates will have to report to the exam center allotted to them within time. Along with the exam centres in India, Intermediate and Final Examination will also be conducted at overseas exam centers such as Bahrain, Dubai, and Muscat. Foundation Course Examination will be held in online remote proctored mode i.e. candidates can give their exam from their homes. To attempt the Foundation Course Examination, candidates will require either computer, laptop, or tab. Candidates can start the exam by logging in the prescribed time span by using login credentials on the URL link shared with them.
While attempting the Foundation Course Examination, if candidates mistakenly log out from the exam due to the internet connection issues then they can log in again from the same laptop, computer or the tab. If candidates have any issues regarding the Foundation Course Examination and Intermediate and Final Examination then they can ask their query for clarification on email id [email protected]. After the exam gets over, ICMAI will announce the results on their official website soon.
