ICAR Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is inviting applications for recruitment to fill up a single vacancy under Shell India Pvt. Ltd supported contract research project. ICAR IARI has published an official recruitment advertisement in this regard at the website of the institute i.e. iari.res.in. As per the advertisement, walk-in interviews are to be conducted at the Institutes’s Regional Station Pusa Samastipur Bihar on September 18, 2020 from 10:00 AM onward. However interested and eligible candidates must send applications along with copies of supporting documents to the Co-Principal Investigator or Project on or before September 14, 2020.
A single contractual vacancy is available for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in a research project supported by Shell India Pvt. Ltd. Selection of eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of walk-in interviews which will be conducted at the institute as per the specified date. Selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis against fixed monthly emoluments and other allowances. Candidates are entitled to receive fixed emolument of Rs 31,000 per month along with HRA during the first and second year. During the third year, candidates will receive Rs 35000 per month in addition to Housing Rent Allowance.
Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. One must have an M.Sc. degree in Agriculture (Agronomy and Soil Science) along with a 4/5 years Bachelor’s degree in order to apply for recruitment to the advertised vacancy. Those who have a Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences and a 03 years Bachelor’s degree and 02 years Master’s degree can apply if they have NET qualification. The minimum age of the applicant must be 18 years while the maximum age of the applicants is fixed at 35 years. However, relaxations of 05 years for SC/ST/Women and 03 years for OBC candidates are applicable on the upper age limit.
The selection and appointment of candidates will be done on a contractual basis only and candidates will not have any right to claim permanent appointment after the completion of the contract period. The initial appointment will be done for a period of 01 years only. Further extension of the contract term is subject to the performance of the candidate during the remaining part of the project.
