Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is going to close the registration window for the Chartered Accountants (CA) December 2021 Examination today, October 12, 2021, at 11:59 pm. The registration window was only opened for two days i.e., October 11 and 12, 2021, to provide extra time to those who couldn’t submit their application form on-time. This is also a good opportunity for fresh applicants who fit the eligibility criteria but were unable to apply before. However, they have only a few hours’ time to fill and submit the online application form on icai.org or icaiexam.icai.org.
Recently, ICAI issued a public notice announcing the re-opening of online application window for CA December 2021 examination. The decsion was taken in consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic and the hardships created by it. The sole intent is mitigate their hardship while ensuring their well-being and welfare. Using this registration window, candidates can apply for a number of exams depending on their eligibility. These exams are as follows –
# CA Foundation
# CA Intermediate
# CA Intermediate (IPC)
# CA Final
# CA Post Qualification Course viz. Insurance & Risk Management (IR) Technical Examination
# International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT-AT)
# International Trade Laws and World Trade Organisaton (ITL & WTO), Part I Examination
While applying for their respective exams, candidates must also bear in mind, the clause of late fee charges. Since, the application window was reopened after closing before, candidates will have to bear these charges. So, along with their prescribed application fee, candidates have to pay Rs.600 or USD 10 as late fee charges.
The public notice also stated that this is the last and final opportunity given by ICAI to apply for the CA December 2021 exams. No further extension will be provided to apply for the national-level competitive exams. Hence, with this limited time-period available for registration, candidates are advised to take this chance, fill their application form and submit it before 11:59 pm today.
To fill the CA December 2021 application form, candidates must follow the basic steps given below –
Step 1: Visit the official website icai.org.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, search and click on the hyperlink attached to “Login/Register”.
Step 3: Register or login using the required credentials.
Step 4: Fill the application form and upload the necessary documents.
Step 5: Fill the required application fee along with late fee charges.
Step 6: Submit the application form and take a printout of the same for later use.
As of now,the ICAI CA December 2021 examination is scheduled to be held from December 05 to 20, 2021. Admit cards for the same will be issued in due course of time, prior to the examination.
