Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS PO 2018 Admit Card for Preliminary Examination on September 27, 2018. The admit card has been released at the official website of IBPS i.e. ibps.in. The Preliminary examination is set to be held from October 13, 14, 20, 21, 2018. And after the one-day of commencement of prelims exam, the candidates can download the admit card, hence they can download the call letter till October 14, 2018.
Previously the Institute has decided to release the IBPS admit card for the preliminary examination in the month of October 2018 before the examination. But suddenly IBPS has released the admit card today in the afternoon. As the admit card is the key to enter in the examination hall. So, for all the candidates it is mandatory to carry their admit card on the of the examination.
To download the admit card candidates need to provide the registration number and date of birth/password on the official website. In the admit card the following details will be mentioned i.e. the name of the candidate, father’s name of the candidate, examination venue, examination timing, name of the exam, center code, gender etc.
Steps to download the IBPS PO ADMIT CARD 2018
Candidate needs to carry a hard copy of the admit card on the day of the preliminary examination. Candidates can follow the given below steps for downloading the admit card.
Firstly, visit the IBPS official website.
Click at link which shows “Click Here to Download the Online Preliminary Exam Call Letter for CRP PO/MT-VIII”.
Thereafter, login page will appear fill the registration number and date of birth (DOB)/ password and write the captcha same as mention on the page.
Thereafter, click on the login button.
Call letter page will appear. Click at the download option for downloading the admit card.
After downloading the admit card take a print out of the admit card for future reference. Read all the mentioned details on the admit card. If any of the mentioned details are incorrect then immediately contact to the releasing authority of the admit card.
For checking the mentioned details in the admit card candidates can take the help of the documents which he/she has used at the time of filling the application form.
Candidates should remember about biometric verification in exam
The IBPS has decided to mark the presence of the candidates by arranging the biometric verification of the candidates. The IBPS will record the candidate’s identity electronically. This is to maintain the integrity of the exam so that an actual candidate give the exam. For biometric verification, the candidates should ensure that their hands are free from any type of henna, ink or chemical.
IBPS PO 2018 PRELIMINARY EXAM PATTERN
The mode of examination will be online. In the examination, objective questions will be asked. 25% penalty marks will be deducted for each wrong attempt. Examination language will be in English and Hindi both (Except for English paper).
On the day of the preliminary examination, the candidate need to carry a hard copy of the IBPS PO 2018 Admit Card for Preliminary Examination and one valid id proof (Adhar Card, Pan Card, Passport, Voter ID Card etc.)
