IBPS Back to Back Releases PO Prelims Result and Mains Admit Card; Here’s How to Check

IBPS PO Prelims Result and Mains Admit Card Released

In IBPS PO Recruitment 2018, two major events have been happened back to back. On Wednesday, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection announced the PO Prelims Result and Yesterday, it released the Admit Card for the Mains exam. Candidates can check result and the availability of the admit card on its official website ibps.in.

IBPS PO Prelims Result 2018 was announced on October 31, 2018. To check the result, the candidates can visit the official website. On the homepage, the result link is available. After clicking on the link, the candidates will be redirected to the login box. On that page, the aspirants can enter the registration number or roll number and the date of birth or password and then click on the login button. Now, the result will appear. Now, download the result and then take the printout of it for the future use.

Candidates will be able to download the result from October 31 to November 07, 2018. Candidates are advised to check the result before the last date. The prelims exams were conducted on October 13, 14, 20 and 21, 2018.

Yesterday i.e. on November 01, 2018, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection released the IBPS PO Mains Call Letter 2018. Those candidates who have passed the preliminary exams and have been qualified for the mains exams can now download the admit card. Candidates must note that they will have to download the fresh/ new admit card for the mains exam.

On the homepage of the IBPS website, the link is available for the Mains Call Letters. Once, the candidates will hit the link, they will be redirected to a page where they can find the various notifications. The very first link is present for the IBPS PO Mains Admit Card 2018. Candidates can download the admit card by submitting the registration number or roll number and the password or the date of birth. The admit card is available in the pdf format.

The closure date to download the call letter is November 18, 2018.

The mains exam for the IBPS Probationary Officer will be held on November 18, 2018. The exam will be conducted online mode. The objective type questions will come in the mains exam. The language of the question paper will be Hindi as well as English. There will be the negative marking in the mains exam. There will be a penalty of 25% of the total mark for each incorrect answer. In the question paper, 200 questions will be asked. Each question will contain 1 mark. So, the entire paper will be of 200 marks. There will be a total of five sections in the exam such as Reasoning (50 marks), English Language (40 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks), General Awareness (40 marks), and Computer Knowledge (20 marks). The separate time will be provided to each section. For the Reasoning, candidates will get 40 minutes, for the English Language 30 minutes, for Quantitative Aptitude 40 minutes, for General Awareness 20 minutes and for Computer Knowledge, the candidates will be given 10 minutes.

The candidates who will qualify the mains will be called for the interview round. The interview session will be of 100 marks. All the candidate must produce the original documents at the time of interview.
