The Ministry of Home Affairs is expected to release the official notification for Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II or IB ACIO 2022 very soon. However, there has been no official update regarding when the official notification will be out. On the other hand, educators and experts have given a tentative timeline as to when the official notification is expected to be out.

According to them, the interview sessions for IB ACIO will be over by February 2022. After that, IB will take some time for publishing the results. The official notification is expected to be available by the beginning of 2022. A decent amount of vacancies will come up for this recruitment. The entire IB ACIO 2022 will be from January to February 2022.

The verification process will take time and as per the top educators, the training will take place at multiple centres. Usually, the IB training used to be held only in one centre but this time it is expected that the same is going to take place across multiple centres. This is likely to expedite the training process so that more officers can be trained at a go.

According to private unofficial websites, the online application process for IB ACIO 2022 will begin from January 19 and continue till February 09. However, this cannot be deemed as a valid claim as the official notification is yet to be out. In that case, one can only claim that the tentative duration for the recruitment is between January and February 2022.

The basic eligibility criteria are such that the candidate must be a graduate of a recognized university. As per sources, the age limit of the applicant should be between 18 to 27 years. The application fee is Rs 100 for the General and OBC categories however the remaining categories are exempted from the fee.

The Tier 1 exam of IB ACIO 2022 will have 100 questions covering topics such as general awareness, quantitative aptitude, logical, analytical, and numerical ability, English language, and general studies. A duration of 60 minutes will be given to complete the exam. On the other hand, Tier 2 will be held for 50 marks and will have an essay writing topic along with English comprehension and precis writing. After that, the IB ACIO Tier 3 will be held for 100 marks which is the personal interview round. This information is based on various sources and candidates must crosscheck the same from the official notification as and when it is released.
