Head Quarter Western Command is inviting applications to fill up 400 vacancies. The vacancies are for the post of Mates & other civilians, Porters and Safaiwala. The recruitment of the aforementioned posts is to be done on a contractual basis. Candidates domiciled in the Green Zone of Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply for the recruitment. Eligible candidates who are interested in recruitment to the aforementioned vacancies are advised to go through the detailed recruitment notification. As per the notification, the selection of eligible applicants is to be done through walk-in interviews. The interviews are scheduled to be conducted on and from August 07 to 10, 2020.
As per the detailed recruitment notification, the vacancies are for various Group D posts. The detailed vacancy bifurcation for the advertised 400 posts is available at the official notification. According to the notification, 34 vacancies are available for the post of Mate,, Barber, Washerman, Cook, Tailor, Equipment Repairer, Carpenter etc. On the other hand, there are 360 vacancies available for the post of Porter. In addition, 06 vacancies are available for the post of Safaiwala.
Candidates willing to apply for the aforementioned posts must first ensure that they fulfil the specified minimum eligibility conditions. Applicants must be Indian citizens domiciled in the Green Zones of the state of Himachal Pradesh only. In addition, candidates must be at least 18 years of age to apply for the post. The maximum permissible age of the applicants is 40 years as on August 07, 2020. Candidates should be medically and physically fit and must not be suffering from any contagious disease. In addition, such candidates must not have any record of criminal imprisonment. In this regard, candidates have to submit certificate issued by local police station.
The selection of eligible applicants is to be done through walk-in interviews. The interviews are scheduled to be conducted at Karcham Village, District Kinnaur. Applicants are directed to report at Police Station Tapri for the interview. The date of the interviews is August 07 to August 10, 2020. The interviews are scheduled to be conducted on the aforementioned dates from 08.00 PM onward.
Selected candidates are appointed for a contractual period of 124 days. Candidates are required to carry the specified documents along with photographs to the interview venue. Candidates selected for the post of Mate and other civilians are entitled to a total pay of Rs 24729.84 per month. The rate of pay per month for the other posts is also Rs 24729.54. In addition, candidates are entitled to specified conveyance, ration, and medical facilities.
