HPBOSE has released admit card online for HP TET 2019 for TGT arts, TGT non medical, LT, TGT medical. Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education in order to determine the eligibility of candidates to become teachers.
Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is scheduled on four dates. And on each date two papers will be held at separate timings. TGT non medical TET is on November 10, 2019 from 10 am to 12.30 pm. LT TET is on the same date from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. Then TGT arts TET is on November 12, 2019 from 10 am to 12.30 pm. FOllowed by TGT medical TET on that day from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
HPBOSE will then organize Punjabi TET and Urdu TET on November 17, 2019, from 10 am to 12.30 pm, and 2 pm to 4.30 pm respectively. Then JBT TET is on November 24, 2019 from 10 am to 12.30 pm, and shastri TET on same day from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
For the first four exams, HPBOSE released admit card on November 6, 2019, that is four days before the first two exams. Therefore for the remaining four exams that is JBT TET, Punjabi TET, Shastri TET, and Urdu TET it is expected that admit card will be available for download from November 13, 2019.
HP TET hall ticket 2019 can be downloaded online from the official website i.e. hpbose.org. To download the same, candidates need to enter application number and date of birth in DD-MM-YYYY format. After entering the details, a login page will appear on the screen. Candidates can download their admit card and take a print out of the same.
If candidates forgot their login details like application number, they can retrieve it by selecting one of the subjects i.e TGT Arts / Non Medical / Medical, Shastri, LT, JBT, Punjabi, Urdu and entering their name, mobile number, date of birth.
The admit card of HP TET 2019 contains components including name, roll number, category, exam date, exam timings, photograph, signature, address of exam centre, etc. Candidates must cross-check their details available on the admit card. If candidates are unable to download the admit card then they must contact centre Superintendent at least one hour before the start of the examination along with the printout of the confirmation page.
HPTET consists of 150 questions of 150 marks. It is a pen paper-based examination. The question paper will be in multiple-choice questions and in bilingual i,e, both English and Hindi. Question papers for Shastri TET will be partly in Sanskrit and partly in Hindi. Whereas Punjabi and Urdu TET papers will be in Punjabi, Urdu and English. Each question will carry +1 mark and there is no negative marking.
Since very few days are left for the exam of HP TET 2019, candidates are advised to solve previous year question papers. It is also advisable to take plenty of rest a day prior, to calm yourself and have an active brain during the exam; studying too late into the night or not sleeping well leave one tired on the exam day, and result in silly mistakes. Educationists advice test takers to not overthink or overstress; a good preparation will definitely lead to good results.
Candidates should score 60% (90 out of 150) as minimum qualifying marks. 5% relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PH candidates. Then, on the basis of the scores, TET certificate will be issued, This certificate will be valid till 7 years from the date of issuance. Also, the OMR response sheet will be recorded up to 6 months of the date of declaration of result.
